All budgies are descended from wild budgies that live in Australia. These birds look like the normal green budgie. They act like pet budgies but they don’t screech like pet budgies because it will make it easy for predators to find them. Sometimes a mutated budgie that was once a pet escapes into the wild and joins the wild birds.
